21 Tasty Christmas Drinks That Are Perfect for Celebration!

If you can believe it, Christmas is just two weeks away. Say what!? I have no clue where the first two weeks of December went. If you’re anything like me, you still have gifts to buy, oodles to wrap, and cookies to bake. Thankfully, somehow everything seems to always magically come together in the end, leaving time to sit back and enjoy the festivities with a cocktail in hand. Skip the boring beer this year—holiday parties deserve fun, festive drinks, like Christmas and Jingle Juice. Whether you want champagne, vodka, rum, or tequila base, we’ve got a drink for you. There’s something very comforting about Christmas cocktails. From cozy toddies to citrusy spritzes, to extra-decadent concoctions like white Russians, egg nogs, or our signature Driven Snow, these drinks are guaranteed to help you relax your shoulders, unwind from the stress of the holiday season, and celebrate in style. And who doesn’t need that? Here are 21 amazing Christmas drinks for y’all to enjoy.

21. Wassail Hot Toddy

Wassail Hot Toddy

When the weather turns chilly, you can put on a sweater, or you can reach for a glass of Wassail. The latter is the only one of the two that tastes good as it warms you up, because it’s a spiced apple cider drink that can be spiked with alcohol, should you so choose. The Wassail is composed of apple cider, unsweetened pomegranate juice, white sugar, fresh orange and lemon juices, cinnamon, cloves and allspice. All-natural ingredients including fruit juices, fruit zest, and select spices are slowly stepped into base wines at a cool temperature. They are then filtered and promptly bottled.

20. Orange Crush Cocktail

 Orange Crush Cocktail

I honestly don’t drink cocktails too much, mostly because I like to eat calories instead of drink them and also because I am way too lazy to be shaking, blending and pouring. Instead, I pop a bottle of wine and I’m already on my way to relaxation town. But an Orange Crush is just as much a Maryland cocktail as crab cakes are a state dish. You won’t find many bars, in the city or on the shore, that don’t have their own citrus juicer proudly displayed. It’s not just a refreshing summer drink, it is an “anytime of the year drink”. This Orange Crush Cocktail Recipe is as easy as it gets. Party perfect and just in time for the Christmas weekend festivities!

19. White Winter Sangria

White Winter Sangria

This festive Winter Sangria is made with a base of Vinho Verde and infused with pomegranate, pear, and fresh lime. It’s festive, delicious, and can be made ahead of time! When Winter comes though, you have to get more creative. I used pomegranate, pear, and lime with a base of Vinho Verde (sparkling white wine) to create this white sangria and it’s quickly become a favourite! I was so excited and determined to get this one just right that I had to make two batches to get it the way I wanted it. And I’m really glad I did, because this Winter White Sangria might be one of my favourite Christmas drinks this year.

18. Mulled Apple Cider

Mulled Apple Cider

This mulled cider looks beautifully festive with the bright orange and red fruits. The aroma of apple and cinnamon simmering away on the stove will make your home smell absolutely incredible. A drink that serves both as an air freshener and a deliciously sweet warm drink? Cheers to that! There’s more to mulling good cider than swirling in a couple sticks of cinnamon. This spice blend yields a balanced, flavorful cider while remaining true to the base flavor of apples. You can customise it to your own tastes (using more brandy, for example, for a harder brew), but the star anise, coriander, and cardamom—all friends of apples—are what make it stand out.

Winter Bourbon Smash

The bourbon smash is an open-ended cocktail, freely variable and seasonally flexible. There must be ice…There should be fruit in season, though you may use it simply as a garnish. There should be a spirit base…You may want to water your smash down a little or add a spritz of seltzer. At its heart, the smash is a wonderfully forgiving and flexible drink, made for…using what’s on hand and for smashing it all together over ice for pure sipping bliss. It’s one of my best Christmas drinks ever.

7. Cinnamon Roll Cocktail

 Cinnamon Roll Cocktail

Cinnamon roll cocktail is a delicious combination of Kahlua and RumChata making a perfect nightcap cocktail or after-dinner drink. I love coffee and nothing beats a cocktail that tastes like coffee. Combining cream soda with Fireball, the end result is a creamy, cinnamon roll flavored drink. Easy to sip on and even easier to prepare! I have heard that people sometimes put this combination into shot glasses with whipped cream on top. You could definitely serve it that way too and call it Cinnamon Roll Shooters. Maybe even sprinkle some ground nutmeg or cinnamon on top of the whipped cream! I prefer to sip on a drink rather than take a shot, but either way is just as tasty!

 Nutcracker Cocktail

I am starting to get into the Christmas spirit…and a spirit is exactly what I’m sharing with you today!  This nutcracker cocktail is full of rich nutty flavors and topped with whipped cream, making it look like a winter wonderland! This drink is a combination of vanilla vodka & white chocolate liqueur mixed up with the luscious almond notes of Amaretto and the rich hazelnut flavour of Frangelico. Shaken over ice the Nutcracker Cocktail makes a pleasant change from Baileys. It’s creaminess comes just from the white chocolate liqueur, so it’s not overpowering or heavy. It’s the nutty flavours that really steal  the show in this drink.
