21. Grilled Pork Chops with Cherry Compote

Grilled Pork Chops with Cherry Compote

This recipe for Grilled Pork Chops with Cherry Compote is super easy,  delicious, Whole30, paleo, and AIP compliant. Pork chops are marinated in fresh herbs, grilled on the BBQ until they’re perfectly juicy, and then served with a sweet and tangy cherry compote.

Pork and cherries just might be the combo you didn’t know you were missing! To make these paleo grilled recipes, you’ll need two pork chops (bone-in or boneless). The chops are first marinated in fresh rosemary, olive oil, crushed garlic, and sea salt for at least an hour.

While the chops marinate, make your cherry compote by stewing sweet pitted cherries in fresh thyme, shallot, and balsamic vinegar and reduce until perfectly thick, sweet, and tangy.

Triple Berry Avocado Grilled Chicken Salad {Paleo, Whole30}

This grilled chicken salad is packed with flavor with sweet juicy berries, avocado, and a berry vinaigrette along with savory grilled chicken, spinach, and walnuts or candied walnuts.

It’s Paleo, dairy-free, and has a Whole30-friendly option. Perfect for a light healthy lunch or dinner! I’ve been getting tons of requests for big salads lately and I don’t blame all of you – it’s what I’ve been craving lately too! I decided since it’s June, we need a salad with lots of in-season fruit along with greens and other goodies.

I polled Instagram about what type of fruit people preferred and the majority chose BERRIES. Since I couldn’t pick just one berry, I decided a triple berry salad was in order.

19. Garlic & Herb Grilled Eggplant

Garlic & Herb Grilled Eggplant

These Garlic & Herb Grilled Eggplant are my favorite vegetable to barbecue. They are tender in the middle with slightly charred edges and are coated in delicious garlic and herb oil which gives them so much flavor.

They are Vegan, Whole30, Keto, and Paleo and are guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Grilled vegetables are my go-to side dish or paleo grilled recipes for any summer barbecue. They are incredibly easy to prepare, go with just about anything, and can be made in advance. While most people grill zucchini, peppers, and onions, my absolute favorite vegetable to grill are Eggplant.

Unfortunately, grilled eggplant (or melanzane, aubergine, or brinjals depending on where in the world you are from) can be a tricky vegetable to cook. Too much oil and they become slimy, cut too thick and they have an unpleasant chunky texture.

The flavor of the chicken marinade for this recipe is like a cleaned-up Hawaiian BBQ sauce. It’s a little smoky, a little sweet, and will have you licking the extra off your fingers!

We use all real food ingredients to make this healthy pineapple chicken marinade and dates are our primary sweetener. The refined sugar-free sauce makes this recipe both Paleo + Whole30 friendly!

16. Easy Grilled Pork Skewers

Easy Grilled Pork Skewers

You can’t go wrong with a nice sweet marinade for grilled pork skewers! This is a tasty recipe that we love to prepare when we host BBQ parties. No one is ever disappointed. You can substitute the meat, but on hand, I used pork shoulder.

Prepare to marinate the pork. I peel the garlic and put it in a food processor to pulse. Dice apple, green onion, and onion. Then put all the marinade ingredients in a Ziploc bag: minced garlic, diced apple, brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, mirin, diced green onions, and a dash of black pepper.

Marinate for at least 2-3 hours, the longer the pork is marinated, the better the flavor outcome. Personally, I usually marinate overnight. Mix marinate around and then put your meat inside. You may have to use two separate Ziploc.

15. Grilled Steak, Zucchini, and Pesto Salad

Grilled Steak, Zucchini, and Pesto Salad

This Grilled Steak, Zucchini, and Pesto Salad isn’t your average salad! With no lettuce in sight, this summer salad recipe instead relies on zucchini and grape tomatoes for a nutritious, veggielicious base. And then there’s pesto.

I knew I couldn’t let a summer go by without a pesto recipe! Is there any other sauce that radiates summer more than pesto?! I already mentioned that this gluten-free salad recipe is devoid of lettuce or leafy greens. The certainty comes from someone graciously informing me that my Mushroom, Bacon, and Cauliflower Casserole isn’t really a casserole because the finished product doesn’t bind together.

So I let them know that nowhere in the definition of a casserole can you find a specification that the casserole has to keep the form as it’s served. Also, this recipe is one of my favourite paleo grilled recipes that you will love too.

12. Honey Mustard Chicken (baked or grilled!)

Honey Mustard Chicken (baked or grilled!)

Delicious and simple grilled honey mustard chicken with the best honey mustard marinade that’s perfect for baked or grilled chicken recipes. The paleo honey mustard chicken marinade is sweet, tangy, and an easy way to add moisture and flavor to any cut of chicken!

My former Applebee’s order in middle and high school: chicken tenders with a decent-sized amount of honey mustard sauce for dipping. Give me all the tangy sweetness, please. Not gonna lie, I’ve always been obsessed with all things mustard. I love dipping my carrots in dijon.

Can’t have a sandwich without spicy or brown mustard…or any mustard really. I get weak for a good honey mustard pretzel combo. Can’t ever have a hot dog or corn dog without yellow mustard. The list goes on.

11. Grilled Lemon Chicken

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Grilled lemon chicken is a tender, juicy and savory grilling recipe that is perfect for summer. It’s light, healthy, and beaming with Mediterranean flavor! Grilled Lemon Chicken is a quintessential grilling recipe or paleo grilled recipes that are very basic in ingredients, but rich in flavor!

10. Grilled Orange Chicken

Grilled Orange Chicken

This grilled chicken includes a light citrusy marinade that’s perfect for summer. Grilling is my absolute favorite way to cook. If the weather is nice I’ll be on the porch making dinner. Chicken, burgers, steaks… all of them make me happy. But I can tell you that this yummy Grilled Orange Chicken is about to go on regular rotation over here. It is so good.

The key to this phenomenal dish is the marinade. It’s mild so you’re not getting an overwhelming citrus flavor. Instead, it’s light, bright, and screams of warm weather days with sunshine. So many store-bought marinades rely on sugar to bring out the sweetness but not here, friends. Orange juice is plenty sweet on its own and the Coconut Aminos add a depth of flavor you’re going to love.

9. Grilled Summer Vegetable Salad

Grilled Summer Vegetable Salad

Grilled Summer Vegetable Salad uses herb-infused oils to grill summer vegetables, plus a terrific homemade dressing! We’ve taken all of those different herb-flavored grilled vegetables – corn, eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, and peppers – and then combined them with fresh tomatoes and basil.

We also crumbled some blue cheese over the veggies – but you can also use goat cheese, feta, or any other crumbly cheese you like. Finally, everything is tossed together with a simple dressing made from more of those herb-infused oils, plus the addition of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a little Dijon mustard.

It’s the perfect light and refreshing dressing to complement the smoky flavors of the grilled vegetables. This grilled summer vegetable salad recipe is completely flexible so feel free to get creative in the kitchen!

8. Grilled Zucchini Salad With Goat Cheese & Pine Nuts

Grilled Zucchini Salad With Goat Cheese & Pine Nuts

When the garden overfloweth, it’s time to heat up the grill for a turn-eth on the coals-eth for an easy side dish of grilled zucchini topped with creamy goat cheese and pine nuts.

One minute you’re gazing upon 3-inch still-room-to-grow zucchini when BOOM! with the slight of mother nature’s hand that cute little mini squash has suddenly turned into a 4-pound gargantuan with enough flesh for 324 loaves of zucchini bread or 41 pepperoni stuffed zucchini boats.

That’s veggie magic folks. And this zucchini side dish is magic too. It’s healthy. It’s easy. And as the Italians do, it can be plated and set on a table to be, served warm or at room temperature so it’s perfect for serving at a potluck or party.

7. Grilled Potato & Arugula Salad with Fresh Herbs

Grilled Potato & Arugula Salad with Fresh Herbs

This Grilled Potato and Arugula Salad with Fresh Herbs is a summertime backyard BBQ staple around here. A must when we are entertaining. Put all other potato salads to shame with multiple layers of flavor and texture.

Whenever we have people over, whether we are cooking up the most elaborate or the most simple of meals – this side dish stunner is my go-to. Cooking up the potatoes first allows them to soften up a bit, so when they hit the grilled glistening with the Terra Delyssa olive oil, they get a golden brown char to the outside of them, while still holding their shape.

Try substituting baby spinach, kale, or other lettuces or greens for the arugula and even play with different vinaigrette moves, try adding in a whole grain mustard, a little lemon zest, and maybe add some red pepper flakes.

6. Grilled Citrus Herb Chicken and Veggies (AIP)

5. Grilled Cajun Shrimp Tacos

Grilled Cajun Shrimp Tacos

These grilled Cajun shrimp tacos are a quick and easy dinner idea or paleo grilled recipes, ready in 30 minutes or less, while still packed full of smoky and spicy flavor! In the summertime, I’m all about quick and easy meals.

Actually, let’s get real, I’m always about quick and easy meals, but it’s especially true during the summer months. Seafood, in general, is a great option for a quick meal because it doesn’t take long to cook and can easily take on a lot of flavors. In fact, the right combination of herbs and spices can take any simple piece of seafood and elevate it from good to great.

For these Cajun shrimp tacos, I wanted to add a little extra kick so I decided to do a homemade cajun seasoning on them, but if you have a store-bought version you like that would work really well too.

4. Grilled Sausage and Sweet Potato Salad

Grilled Sausage and Sweet Potato Salad

Grilled Sausage and Sweet Potato salad with honey mustard vinaigrette is a delicious summer salad with a few of summer’s best vegetables. Sweet potatoes and red bell pepper are grilled and chopped, and tossed with sausage for a high protein and nutrient-dense dish that the whole family will enjoy!

Beer and sausage were the only 2 things he could come up with, and with a salad, we had to get creative. The original version he made several years ago has been in the vinaigrette which is super fun, but this is a cleaner version we still use today! One that we love is a summertime dinner or side dish.

I do not cook with pork sausage but use only chicken or turkey (feel free to use whatever type you prefer). Beer can also be added or omitted if you follow a gluten-free or Paleo diet; the end result will be a honey mustard dressing that is just as delicious!

3. Grilled Greek Lamb Skewers (Paleo, Whole30, Keto)

Grilled Greek Lamb Skewers (Paleo, Whole30, Keto)

These Greek Lamb Skewers are a simple recipe made with ground meat and spices. Throw the kebabs on the grill then pair them with a salad or yogurt dip for an easy BBQ dinner or paleo grilled recipes!

Summer means BBQ time and for us, that means getting some meat on the grill – whether it be steak, chicken, or in this case, lamb. Skewers (aka kabobs or kababs – I’m referring to all of them as the same thing) are a favorite because they’re so easy – put seasonings and meat in a bowl, combine, then put it on a stick and cook. I’m not sure it gets much simpler than that. This ground lamb recipe fits that exact bill.

There are traditional Greek flavors like oregano and garlic, as well as some cinnamon to add a little different flavor profile. They are delicious and really easy to pull together. And did I mention this recipe is gluten-free, paleo, and Whole30 compliant? No need to deprive yourself, friend.

2. Easy Bruschetta Chicken (Grilled or Baked)

Easy Bruschetta Chicken (Grilled or Baked)

Sing it with me: “balsamic and chicken, tomatoes and basil … these are a few of my favorite things.” And what a coincidence! All of them feature prominently in Bruschetta Chicken, an easy, fresh summertime dinner that satisfies the pickiest of eaters and the busiest of chefs.

See below for tips to fit Whole30, paleo, and keto lifestyles. Frankly, it’s given us such tasty Italian-American staples as alfredo, chicken parm, cioppino, and, of course, Sunday Sauce with meatballs, so no disrespect to the motherland but I’m absolutely fine with this “bastardization.”
